Terms of Chartering

The following should be noticed and clearly outlined in the Contract Form ,sent to you after your notification of interest.

  • The boat is fully insured against damages and losses with a deductible insurance policy. The deductible amount must be paid in advance as a guarantee to the Owner (Broker). When the boat returned without lost items or damages ,according to inventory list signed prior to departure by both parties ,the deductible is refunded.
  • A crew list stating the passport numbers of all members should be onboard.
  • Comprehensive sea charts and Greek Water Pilot are always onboard.
  • Clean laundry with linen ,towels and blankets provided to the Charterer.
  • All tanks with fuel and water should be filled up at Charterer’s expe1nse at the time of redelivery.
  • Food and drink and other provisions should be purchased prior embarkation by the Charterer. Since dinning out in the islands is not expensive Charterers are encouraged to get the necessary supplies for breakfast and lunch.
  • Skippers if requested by the Charterers are experienced sailors speaking English (and other languages) fluently with correct attitude and manners. They never forget their responsibility for safe sailing and make the Charterer feel at home for ,as long as the cruise lasts.
  • On a crewed charter, the Charterer is still responsible for the boat and for fulfilling the terms of the Contract.
  • The boat is delivered in thorough clean condition and it should delivered in a similar condition.
  • Mooring marina and canal fees are not included in Charter rate and should be covered by the Charterer.
